16~001|001 NEHEMIAH` The words of Nehemiah the son of Hachaliah. And it came to pass in the month Chisleu, in the twentieth year, as I was in Shushan the palace,

16~003|015 NEHEMIAH` But the gate of the fountain repaired Shallun the son of Colhozeh, the ruler of part of Mizpah; he built it, and covered it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, and the wall of the pool of Siloah by the king's garden, and to the stairs that go down from the city of David.
16~003|015 NEHEMYB` And Shallun, the son of Colhozeh, the ruler of the district of Mizpah, repaired the Fountain Gate; he rebuilt it, and covered it, and set its doors, its bolts, and its bars, and the wall of the pool of Shiloah in the king's garden, as far as the stairs that descend from the city of David.

16~003|033 NEHEMYB` And it came to pass, that when Sanballat heard that we built the wall, he was angry, and greatly enraged, and he mocked the Jews.
16~003|034 NEHEMYB` And he spoke before his brothers and the army of Samaria, and said, What are these feeble Jews doing? Will they restore things? Will they sacrifice? Will they finish up in a day? Will they revive the stones out of the heaps of rubbish which are burned?
16~003|035 NEHEMYB` And Tobiah the Ammonite, who was next to him, said, Even a fox climbing up on what they build, shall break down their stone wall!
16~003|036 NEHEMYB` Hear, O our God; for we are despised; and turn their taunt upon their own head, and give them for a prey in the land of captivity.
16~003|037 NEHEMYB` And do not cover their iniquity, and do not let their sin be blotted out from before you; for they have provoked you to anger before the builders.
16~003|038 NEHEMYB` So we built the wall; and all the wall was joined together to half its height; for the people had a mind to work.
16~004|001 NEHEMIAH` But it came to pass, that when Sanballat heard that we built the wall, he was wroth, and took great indignation, and mocked the Jews [S#3064] .
16~004|001 NEHEMYB` And it came to pass, that when Sanballat, and Tobiah, and the Arabs, and the Ammonites, and the Ashdodites, heard that the walls of Jerusalem were being repaired, and that the breaches were beginning to be closed, they were very angry.
16~004|002 NEHEMIAH` And he spoke before his brethren and the army of Samaria, and said, What do these feeble Jews [S#3064] ? will they fortify themselves? will they sacrifice? will they make an end in a day? will they revive the stones out of the heaps of the rubbish which are burned?
16~004|002 NEHEMYB` And they all conspired together to come and to fight against Jerusalem, and to cause confusion in it.
16~004|003 NEHEMIAH` Now Tobiah the Ammonite was by him, and he said, Even that which they build, if a fox go up, he shall even break down their stone wall.
16~004|003 NEHEMYB` And we prayed to our God, and set a watch against them day and night, because of them.
16~004|004 NEHEMIAH` Hear, O our God; for we are despised: and turn their reproach upon their own head, and give them for a prey in the land of captivity:
